Breaking: Trump Issues 48-Hour Ultimatum to Iran Over Strait of Hormuz, Conflict Intensifies

In a dramatic escalation in the Middle East, U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stark 48-hour ultimatum to Iran regarding the Strait of Hormuz. Trump warned that if Iran does not reopen the critical waterway within this timeframe, all Iranian power plants could face destruction, beginning with the nation’s largest facility. The threat was made public via social media and marks the 23rd day of heightened tensions between the U.S., Israel, and Iran. In response, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a counter-warning, declaring that any attack on Iranian energy infrastructure would be met with immediate retaliation against U.S. and Israeli targets. Meanwhile, Iran has launched multiple missile and drone attacks under “Operation True Promise 4,” targeting southern Israel, including the city of Arad, causing widespread damage and injuring over 80 civilians. Rescue operations are ongoing in the affected residential areas. Adding an international dimension, 22 countries, including France and Germany, have condemned Iran’s attacks on commercial ships and energy installations, urging Tehran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz immediately. Analysts warn that the situation could escalate further, threatening regional stability and global energy supplies.
