Milk procurement price hiked to Rs 41 per litre in Tamil Nadu

Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay announced a milk procurement price hike. Producers will now receive Rs 41 per litre, an increase of Rs 3. This decision benefits over 3.16 lakh milk producers across the state. The government cited rising cattle feed and labour costs for the adjustment. This move will cost the government an additional Rs 30 crore monthly.
