TVK announces Rs 20,800 crore supercritical power project for Tuticorin

The Tamil Nadu government announced significant power infrastructure projects. A new 1,600MW thermal power station will be established in Tuticorin. The state will also overhaul its power transmission network with new substations. These initiatives aim to meet the growing electricity demand and economic needs.
