    A symbolic moment at the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi has drawn attention online after Sam Altman and Dario Amodei opted for raised fists instead of joining hands during a group photograph with Narendra Modi and other executives. While most participants linked hands and raised them in a gesture of unity, Altman and Amodei - who lead rival AI firms OpenAI and Anthropic - briefly appeared uncertain before lifting their fists separately. The moment quickly gained traction on social media, with many interpreting it as a subtle reflection of the growing competition between the two companies. Anthropic was founded in 2021 by former OpenAI executives, including Amodei, amid differences over AI safety, governance, and commercial direction.
