Luna Band Ships Worldwide at Rs. 13,999 With No Subscription

Luna's screenless, subscription-free fitness tracker is now shipping globally. It costs Rs. 13,999 in India and offers up to 10 days of battery life.

Luna has begun shipping its Luna Band worldwide, the company announced at IFA 2026. The screenless wearable is listed at Rs. 13,999 on Luna's India website and sells for $149 (roughly Rs. 14,000) in the United States.

The fitness tracker first debuted at CES 2026 earlier this year, and Luna started taking pre-orders in July. It runs on the company's LifeOS AI platform and, unlike the Whoop and Google Fitbit Air, can be used without a subscription. Rival devices require paid plans to unlock many of their advanced features.

In India, the Luna Band is available in three colours: Aloe Green, Desert Beige and Onyx Black. Buyers can also purchase additional straps in Ember Orange, Atlantic Blue and Glacier Blue.

No screen, worn on wrist or arm

The Luna Band has no display and can be worn either on the wrist or the upper arm. It pairs with both Apple and Android devices. Luna positions the LifeOS platform as a personalised daily health coach that tracks menstrual cycles and dietary habits and offers suggestions based on that data.

The device relies on a multi-channel PPG heart rate sensor, a 6-axis accelerometer and a skin temperature sensor. It measures heart rate, SpO2 levels and VO2 Max, and monitors skin temperature and sleep patterns. The platform also sets custom daily hydration goals and recommends supplements based on the wearer's current body state.

Automatic activity tracking

The Luna Band can automatically log workouts, including running, strength training, boxing and Hyrox. Luna claims up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge, and the band carries a 5 ATM water-resistance rating.

The combination of subscription-free operation and multi-day battery life is central to how Luna is pitching the device against established rivals in the fitness wearable market.
