Hy-Tech Engineers IPO GMP: Grey Market Premium Signals Strong Investor Interest

The Hy-Tech Engineers IPO has become one of the major talking points in India's IPO market, with strong investor demand and a sharp rise in its grey market premium (GMP). The IPO opened for subscription on August 24 and closes today, August 27, 2026. The company has fixed a price band of ₹50–₹53 per share, while the issue size is approximately ₹135.73 crore.

According to the latest available grey-market data, Hy-Tech Engineers' GMP has climbed to around ₹44 per share, equivalent to an indicative premium of about 83% over the upper issue price. At that level, the implied listing price would be close to ₹97. However, GMP is unofficial and can change quickly, so it should not be treated as a guaranteed listing price.

Investor participation has also been exceptionally strong. Reports on the final day indicate that the issue was subscribed more than 50 times, reflecting substantial interest from investors.

The IPO has a lot size of 283 shares, requiring ₹14,999 at the upper price band. Allotment is expected on August 28, with a tentative listing on BSE and NSE on September 1.

Investors should consider the company's fundamentals, financial performance and risk factors rather than relying only on GMP before making an investment decision.
